What is a Tsundere?

Tsundere is the first dere type I'd encounter into my life, but ironically I don't know what that magical 'Tsundere' word means.. After I learned it's meaning, I started to love it even more, because tsundere is what I've always been dreaming of to be. but I ended up Deredere. Oppss! Sorry to mention another dere type you doesn't  know, pardon me. Okay, moving on. Let's start tackle this Tsudere.

Tsundere is extremely common to an anime. In every anime especially in a romantic comedy genre anime, tsundere will never be absent. Having a tsundere character in an anime make its story perfect. All emotions can be there and will drag you to the fullest. If you can imagine what I'm saying, you better create that imagination wider and think of any anime that filled with many tsundere characters.

Too much of words, lets jump to its meaning.
Well, if I'm not mistaken Tsundere is a Japanese character development process that describes a person who is initially cold and even hostile towards another person before gradually showing his or her warm side over time. The word is derived from the terms tsun tsun  meaning to turn away in disgust, and dere dere meaning to become 'lovey dovey'. Originally found in Japanese bishōjo games, the word is now part of the otaku moe phenomenon, reaching into other media such as maid cafes, anime, manga, novels, and even mass media. The term was made popular in the visual novel Kimi ga Nozomu Eien.

Best examples I can give you in this dere are Aisaka Taiga from the anime Toradora and Louise de la Valliere from the magical anime Zero no Tsukaima series. These two anime character or shall I say, these two anime Tsundere characters are sharing the same attitude as well as they both have the same characteristics and voice actress and I'm taling about  Rei Kugiyama the most popular dubber of shining star anime characters.

Giving you a point of you of Aisaka Taiga and Louise de la Valliere; Aisaka is an ordinary high school girl who love chasing and stalking her crush named Kitamura and acting like innocent in his front. Taiga is brutal to everyone and gets timid and shy in the presence of Kitamura. She denied every time a certain person noticed her chasing Kitamura yet she really like Kitamura and that reveal the truth when others find out that she's stalking her crush and capturing pictures every now and then in his intervals. She also acting nagger in her as a front line to her crush but deep inside she's freaking out in thrill, feeling up her crush. In the other hand Louise is just like exactly as Aisaka is, acting cold in her front line but is actually sweet deep inside that is difficult to show up to someone what they really feel inside. That answers everything why I give them as an example to this. At the same time it's pathetic being a tsundere human being. Cold outside but is actually sweet darling deep inside.
